Our prices are in US dollars per day and already include 200 km a day, third-party insurance, passenger liability, 16.5% VAT and the 1% levy. Rent for 14 days or more and every day costs less.

Extras you may add
- Comprehensive cover: $40 a day (Groups A and C), $50 (D and E), $60 (H to K).
- One of our drivers: $10 a day, plus $35 for each night away or work after 18:00.
- Returning in another city: $300. Returning at the airport in the same city is free.
- Crossing a border: $75.
- Camping gear from $0.50 a day.
Worked examples
- A week in a Nissan X-Trail: 7 × $85 = $595.
- Two weeks in the same car: 14 × $80 = $1,120, the long-rental rate.
- Ten days in a Toyota Fortuner, from Lilongwe to Blantyre: 10 × $145 + $300 drop-off = $1,750.
Paying
Nothing is charged when you book. Once we confirm, pay by Visa, MasterCard or bank transfer (a 5% bank charge applies; international transfers get 10% off). A refundable deposit of $1,000, or a credit card imprint, is taken at pick-up.
