You can start your trip the moment you land. Ambassador Car Hire has five pick-up and return points across Malawi:
- Kamuzu International Airport (LLW), Lilongwe
- Lilongwe office
- Chileka International Airport (BLZ), Blantyre
- Blantyre office
- Mzuzu office
Arriving by air. Choose the airport as your pick-up point and add your flight number or arrival time when you book. We have the vehicle ready for you.
Returning in the same city is free. Pick up at Kamuzu airport and return at our Lilongwe office, or the other way round, at no extra cost. The same applies to Chileka airport and our Blantyre office.
One-way trips. Want to fly into Lilongwe and out of Blantyre? Return the vehicle in another city for a one-way fee of $300. It saves you driving back the same road, and you see more of the country.
Example: a Toyota RAV4 for 9 days, from Kamuzu airport to Chileka airport: 9 × $85 + $300 = $1,065.
Opening hours. Our offices are open Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. For an early or late flight, tell us your arrival time when you book.
