Our fleet ranges from small to executive, from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive and from 4 seaters to 12 seaters. Ambassador Car Hire has the right vehicle for your needs.

Our 24-hour back-up service is always on call to assist, ensuring minimal inconvenience to our customers.

Over four decades on Malawi’s roads
The beginning
Ambassador Car Hire was founded with just 5 vehicles, offering rental services in Lilongwe.
Expansion to Blantyre
We opened our second branch in Blantyre, expanding our services to the southern region of Malawi.
Airport services
We began offering services at Kamuzu International Airport, making it easier for international travellers to reach our vehicles.
Fleet expansion

“Hired car from Blantyre to Lilongwe for 8 days. Car was dropped by Charles at Hotel in clean, well maintained condition. We drove on the most terrible roads you can think of but had no problems. Delivered the car back at Lilongwe Hotel where Charles took possession, checked for any signs of damage, non where made. Our deposit was returned within days. Can recommend Ambassadore Car Hite with full confidence.”

“We had a lovely experience with the car rental. We had not reserved anything ahead of time, and it was near the end of the day, but the person who worked with us was calm, kind, and accommodating. He did not pressure us or try to up-sell us anything. The car was excellent and did well on the roads. You pretty much have to get four-wheel-drive for the roads. They met us at the airport and took the car back. Thank you!”
